Golden syrup | 4 tablespoons |
Butter | 4 tablespoons |
Sugar | 2 cups |
Method
- Rub butter into flour. Add egg. Add enough milk to make dough (this should be a very small amount).
- Roll into balls slightly larger than maltesers.
- Bring to boil remaining ingredients.
- Place dumplings in boiling mixture and reduce it to a simmer. Very low heat here.
- Simmer for 20 minutes, shaking slightly after 10. Keep the lid on.
- Serve with cream and enjoy!
